April 2016 Newsletter

Welcome to April’s Newsletter. With more blue skies and sunshine on the horizon Spring is definitely here;  I have discussed the colour green before in my Newsletters but it seems a good time, in honour of Spring’s arrival, to return and look at what effect a shot of green can have on a room.

The colour green can spruce up any space: vibrant and bold or serene and cool, it’s abundant colour highlights any room in a refreshing statement from the natural world. Rejuvenating and welcoming on larger spaces, feature walls can also work well with green.

The main rooms that I have painted green are: studies, kitchens and occasionally living rooms, but it really does depend of course on how much you love the colour! Olive green is popular whilst mint green can offer a bold retro statement. It also works very well as a feature colour as part of a wallpaper pattern. So why not try it and give green a go?
