July 2016 Newsletter

Welcome to July’s Newsletter. For risk of sounding like a broken record, it was with great disappointment that I have seen a very cold spell return this week. Although I have carried out a few exterior jobs this summer, I have to say that most of my work has been inside, which is extremely lucky considering the state of the weather! There must be a lot of scaffolding up across Sussex with no decorators getting anywhere near to painting. One of the exterior jobs that I have carried out this month has been delightful and really shows what a difference colour can make to an outside space. The whole time I was decorating I was thinking I was in Spain, (helped by it being extremely hot whilst I was working!).

Purple is vibrant and bold and a colour that I have never used on an outside space before, however I think the effect is very Mediterranean adding a touch of luxury to this outside space.

As always in these newsletters I hope to show you different ways to look at your living spaces and the effects colours can have. Whilst it is raining outside as I write this, I very much hope that we will all be back outside again soon to enjoy the English summer.
